Announcing our Seed funding round
We are pleased to announce our Seed funding round, featured in Sky News.
When Adam, Matt and I first sat down and talked about the vision to take Heat Geek to the next level, we knew we would need to take outside funding to power the ambitious plan to decarbonise all homes.
The mission requires such crazy scaled thinking in order to meet the challenge that apart from capital, the guidance and support offered by institutional investors was critical to us.
We’re so happy to have found Kristian Branaes and Clara Ricard at Transition. From our first meetings the entire team echoed the dedication and focus on Climate, paired with a deeply active role in stimulating our thinking and helping us form the strategy for the company.
From the earliest meetings, Manuel Antunes showed an incredible understanding of the space and a passion for the real solution to the problem. We’re excited to be working with the whole team at Triple Point Ventures and learn from their amazing experience in UK Heat.
Going even further back, we would not be here without each of our Angels; Ed Broussard, Jeff Twentyman, Akta Raja, Rob Harris and Stewart Siegel. Without their constant intellectual, spiritual and emotional support throughout the journey, none of us could have gotten this far. They give constant support in a way that underscores their belief in our solution.
I also want to thank our incredible Heat Geeks across the country, in particular the 15 that now join us as shareholders (some of whom are pictured above!), ensuring the business remains true to the objective to empower installers.
The entire team and I are grateful to all our investors for their belief that we will make a big impact. Look forward to showcasing that impact and the work the community does every day to decarbonise homes.
